Technical Sales Advisor

Main Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Point of contact for sales and technical queries regarding our pressure washer or generator range which includes parts and accessories.
  • Dealing with customers throughout the UK and Ireland via email and telephone.
  • Be able to advise the correct product based on application/use.
  • Mechanically inclined individuals with prior experience, or experience in small electrical and engine driven machines are preferred.
  • Processing sales orders via stock control system.
  • Assisting with technical/ troubleshooting problems.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations placed onsite.
  • Liaise with other departments, identifying opportunities or sharing appropriate information promptly and effectively.
  • Keeping ahead of customer, competitor and market trends to leverage and develop new business
Essential Criteria:
  • Candidates coming from a similar industry with practical knowledge and experience in a similar product range is preferred.
  • Candidate should be a self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working in sales, supporting a dealer network.
  • Computer literacy skills to include Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook are essential.
  • Excellent verbal, written, telephone and email communication skills.
  • You must be technically minded and have a good eye for detail.
  • A forward-thinking, ‘can do’, positive attitude.

 

Despatch Operative


Due to the steady growth of the company and expansion plans in place, we are now seeking to expand our despatch team. Maxflow Power Products is a market leading manufacturer of domestic, semi-industrial and industrial pressure washers and generators - with over 25 years industry experience.

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Hours: 7:15am – 4:30pmMonday to Thursday|7:15am – 3:15pm Friday

The Role:

  • Ensure every order is picked and packed correctly with the required products.
  • Provide final checks on each delivery and order.
  • Monitor packing, ensuring everything is stored away correctly.
  • Accurately and timely complete all required documentation to enable clear traceability.
  • Loading/ off loading lorries

Essential Criteria:

  • Driving License
  • Good timekeeping
  • Computer Literacy
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Work well as part of a team
  • GCSE Maths or equivalent Grade C or above
  • Demonstrate a high level of written and oral English

Goods In and Store Coordinator

Main Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Receiving / booking goods in and storing in the correction location.
  • Transacting movement of goods between all sites.
  • Ensuring all goods received are correct, delivery paperwork corresponds to pallets / packages and any discrepancies are raised immediately with purchasing.
  • Communicating effectively with purchasing, highlighting any delays with part deliveries received.
  • Ensuring stores are kept organised – bin and store area locations correctly labelled, reflected in the system and physically.
  • Keen eye for stock control, ensuring all bins are replenished and highlighting any items needing ordered.
  • Stock is replenished effectively, min / max levels are correct and working – adjusting accordingly with purchasing.
  • Monitoring of PO shipping dates and liaising with purchasing when goods are not received on time.
  • Assist with packing and dispatch if required.
  • Investigate any stock discrepancies whether it’s linked to movements, BOM’s etc.
  • Proactive with any problems and suggesting improvements.
  • Assisting with machine BOM developments and updates in line with component changes.
  • Monitor shop counter and assist if needed with any small sales / repair queries.
Essential Criteria:
  • Previous experience working in Goods In and Store.
  • Candidate coming from a similar industry with practical knowledge is preferred.

Purchasing Coordinator


Due to the continued growth of the company and expansion plans in place, we are now seeking a Marketing Executive. Maxflow Power Products is a market leading manufacturer of domestic, semi-industrial and industrial pressure washers and generators - with over 25 years industry experience.
 

Reporting to: Purchasing Manager
 

Hours: 7:15am – 4:30pmMonday to Thursday|7:15am – 3:15pm Friday
 

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for purchasing of all components and consumables.
  • Ensuring all components are purchased competitively, on time and that goods are received within expected lead times.
  • Monitoring top components and ensuring items that are running low are ordered and received on time to prevent run out, considering supplier lead times.
  • Continually monitoring stock of all items, ensuring all are within acceptable limits, set out within the system.
  • Sourcing components from various manufacturers as and when required, including new or changing components.
  • Ensuring items are purchased in line with supplier price list, that discount levels are correct, and quantity breaks are correct.
  • Forecasting of all critical items, reviewing usages monthly and updating forecasts as necessary.
  • Negotiating better prices/service across all suppliers, particularly those with high usage.
  • Organising collection with couriers/shippers of all items where required and monitoring delivery of same.
  • Matching POD’s to invoices and placing on the system, ensuring all prices agree to purchase order price and quantities received, any discrepancies being raised immediately.
  • Filing supplementary declarations with TSS.
  • Assisting with shop counter in relation to small sales and repairs if and when required.
  • Any other duties to compliment the role.

Essential Criteria

Coming from a strong background in a similar industry, the successful person must have practical knowledge with experience in mechanical products to quickly familiarise themselves.

Candidate should be a self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.

Previous experience working in a purchasing department, supporting a busy manufacturing environment.

Computer literacy skills to include Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook are essential.

Excellent verbal, written, telephone and email communication skills.

Assembley Operative

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various components and products using hand and power tools. This is a great opportunity for individuals with mechanical knowledge and experience in a warehouse setting.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics
  • Gather all necessary parts, tools, and equipment for each assembly task
  • Assemble components accurately and efficiently according to specifications
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues or malfunctions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
 

Essential Criteria
 

Coming from a strong background in a similar industry, the successful person must have practical knowledge with experience in mechanical products to quickly familiarise themselves.

Candidate should be a self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.

Mechanical knowledge and aptitude

Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
